America with Disabilities Act (ADA) Website Compliance:  UDR, Inc. welcomes all visitors to UDR.com and all affiliated websites by embracing Federal Section 508 and W3C guidelines & standards. Our web pages are designed with those using assistive technologies in mind. Some of the disabilities necessitating assistive technologies include visual disabilities (blindness, low vision, and color blindness), hearing impairments (deafness and hard of hearing), physical disabilities (motor disabilities), speech disabilities, cognitive & neurological disabilities (dyslexia & dyscalculia, attention deficit disorder, intellectual disabilities & memory impairments, mental health disabilities, and seizure disorders), and aging-related conditions. In designing UDR.com, the following Section 508 guidelines have been observed and implemented:

a. A text equivalent for every non-text element shall be provided
b. Equivalent alternatives for any multimedia presentation shall be synchronized with the presentation
c. Web pages shall be designed so that all information conveyed with color shall also be available without color (i.e. from context or markup)
d. Documents shall be organized so they are legible without the need of a style sheet
e. Information provided by pages using scripting languages to display content or create interface elements shall be identified with functional text that is assistive technology friendly
