Thank you for choosing us as your new home. The information below will guide you through the move-in process and provide important timelines.

The following items are required to prepare you for move-in.

Step Icon SIGN YOUR LEASE
An invitation to sign your lease will be sent via DocuSign. You have 48 hours to sign your lease, unless your lease start date takes place sooner in which your lease must be signed before your lease start date.
You will be provided with a Lease Contract Guarantee. Please complete and notarize the contract no later than 48 hours from the date provided. You may also fill out this form with our Resident Services Specialist. Please coordinate a time to visit during office hours if you prefer to come in. Electronic Notaries are accepted.
Step Icon VERIFY YOUR ID
All adult (18+) household members are required to provide at least one government issued photo ID.
Step Icon VEHICLE INFORMATION (if applicable)
Please provide the make, model, color, year and license plate for your vehicle(s) to your Application & Lease Specialist via text/email.
Step Icon PET INFORMATION & PHOTO (if applicable)
You will receive an invitation from Pet Screening to complete your household’s pet profile(s), even if you do not currently have a pet. Please complete the Household Pet, No Pet, and/or Assistance Animal profile from the direct link emailed to you before your lease start date. Check your spam folder just in case!
 

Next Steps.

The following items are required on or before the lease start date.

Step Icon PAY MOVE-IN BALANCE
Your move-in balance and online payment due date will be provided by your Application & Lease Specialist. You may pay your move-in balance online with an eCheck (ACH payment with no fees) up to 4 business days before your lease start date OR with certified funds (certified check, money order or cashier's check) made out to Addison Apartments at the Park. Credit Card payments are accepted and additional fees will apply.
Step Icon SET UP UTILITIES
Set Up Utility Services: Coming Soon: We will be adding a charge of $50 a month Technology Rent to your account. This will cover your access to Smart Home + our GiGstreem Internet package. While GiGstreem service is unavailable today, we will give you 30 days' advanced written notice of the GiGstreem activation date during your Lease. At that time, we will provide you with more information on the service and how to get connected. To ensure you are not paying for two internet service providers at the same time, we encourage you to obtain month-to-month internet services until GiGstreem is activated. Autumnwood (AW) & Oakwood (OW): We will set up Electric for you and the usage charges to your resident account. Cottonwood (CT), Cherrywood (CW), Ridgewood (RW): Please follow the electricity information below Electricity: TXU / ChooseATexasPower - TXU Energy is our preferred provider and service can be setup at www.txu.com/rent or calling 800-526-4798. You may choose any provider available Water, Sewer, Trash, and Pest Control: We will set this up for you and will see the itemized charges applied to your resident ledger. Step Icon PROVIDE PROOF OF RENTERS INSURANCE
Prior to moving in, applicants must provide a renter’s insurance policy, which contains at least $200,000 in Personal Liability Insurance. Applicants can conveniently purchase renters’ insurance from our preferred provider erenterplan.com Until you provide proof that you have obtained a personal renter’s insurance or liability insurance policy with $200,000 in liability coverage for the duration of your lease, we will procure liability-only insurance coverage on your behalf, and you will be charged $18 per month as additional monthly rent. *Affordable Housing Applicants are exempt from this rule
Step Icon PREPARING FOR MOVE-IN
You're move in will be contactless and you will be required to complete the Identification Verification Form with a notary, prior to your lease start date. Your Application & Lease Specialist and/or Resident Services Specialist will provide you with this form. Questions? Contact [email protected]
