A scenic five-and-a-quarter-mile meander from Twin Lakes in Cedar Park northeast through Olsen Meadows Park and beyond, the Brushy Creek Regional Trail is a favorite of hikers, joggers, and cyclers alike. Great for an evening after-dinner stroll or a weekend workout. Visit in March to witness the bluebonnets—a gorgeous annual show you won’t want to miss. Great for kids and four-legged friends, don’t pass up on this hidden little local gem.

Elizabeth Millburn Community Park

With its full range of outdoor facilities, this getaway features a whole lot of everything for just about everybody. Situated on 42 acres, this is a wonderful place to visit anytime you’re looking for some outdoor recreation. Check out the pavilions decked with BBQ grills, playgrounds for the kiddos, or the basketball and volleyball courts. Visit the swimming pool to cool off after you conquer the new rock climbing wall, or take a turn on the BMX track. It’s a year-round fun-for-all free-for-all.
