Customizations
Can residents mount a TV in their apartment?
Yes. Residents will be responsible for any holes, damages, and/or painting to repair the wall after removal
Can residents paint their apartment?
No
Can residents install curtain rods in their apartment?
Yes. Any drapes visible from windows must match the blinds provided.
Are grills allowed on patio/ balconies?
Yes
Can residents decorate their patio/balcony?
Yes as long as its presentable and not covering your entire balcony. No tents or tarps are permitted from blocking your balcony. Satellite dishes are not allowed to be mounted on any structural of our buildings, they must be mounted on their own tripods. There is also a $250 hold deposit if you decide to have those services in your apartment home. It is refundable at the time of move out.

Where should a service request be submitted?
All service requests should be submitted through the UDR Resident App.
What qualifies as an emergency service request?
An emergency is any issue that poses an immediate threat to health, safety, property, or essential services and requires urgent attention to prevent further damage or danger.
Who is responsible for replacing smart lock batteries?
We provide Smart Lock batteries at move-in. After that, residents are responsible for replacing them as needed.
