Location Highlights

A Neighbor in Nature

Just up the road from our community sits Lettuce Lake Park. This sprawling, 250-acre park has been serving the community since 1982. Wooded picnic areas and playgrounds have grown to be family favorites. For those looking to break a sweat, bicycle trails that are also used by joggers weave throughout the park. More than half the property consists of the Hillsborough River natural floodplain which not only functions as a natural water filter but also a visually beautiful natural landmark.

Originally opened as an admission-free hospitality facility in 1959 for Anheuser-Busch, the theme park now simply known as Busch Gardens has grown to be one of the highest-rated theme parks in the country. It features a wide selection of attractions varying from water rides to roller coasters. Busch Gardens is an extremely versatile and diverse amusement complex that provides something for the whole family.
