Blue Hills Reservation

Need some space to sprawl? Look no further than the 6,000 acres that make up Blue Hills Reservation, mere steps from your apartment home. This state park is one of the largest undeveloped pieces of land in the Boston metro area, and is popular for hiking, mountain biking, camping, fishing, and so much more. Visitors may also be interested to know that there are 16 historic National Register structures located within the park, telling a colorful story of the area’s past.

A Historic Town Legacy

Founded in 1930, the Braintree Historical Society is a great source of information for anyone interested in Braintree’s town history. The Society owns and operates the General Sylvanus Thayer Birthplace, the Gilbert Bean Museum, and the Watson Library and Research Center. Residents are always fascinated to realize Braintree boasts 300 years of local American history, and you can learn all about it through the historical society!

Destination: Shopping

Over 180 stores await you at South Shore Plaza, the largest mall in New England and only a mile and a half away from the Ridge at Blue Hills apartment homes. This is the place to go to find wardrobe essentials, perfect presents, or just to browse what’s in style. Once you’re done shopping, indulge in dinner at one of the many dining establishments located in the mall. Gillette Stadium is also in close proximity as well!

Close to Public Transportation

Traveling around the region is easy from Braintree. We are close to I-93, plus Routes 3, 37, and 28. Also close by is a commuter rail and the MBTA Red Line station, making it easy to get to downtown Boston. Traveling by plane? Boston Logan Airport is only 15 miles away, but you can skip driving yourself and take the Logan Express bus instead. There’s a pickup station in Braintree that will take you directly to the airport. Want that perfect getaway? Cape Cod or Providence, RI are just 40 short miles away!
