Addison also is known for hosting many events, such as one of the largest 4th of July fireworks shows around, Kaboom Town, plus Oktoberfest.

This 12-acre park is also home to live music, art installations, and an interactive fountain. Head here in December to witness Vitruvian Lights, an event where the park trees are decorated with 1.2 million light bulbs—it’s breathtaking.
