If a new leaseholder moves in, the new leaseholder and all remaining leaseholders must fill out an application and qualify according to income and criminal standards. If a roommate moves out, all remaining leaseholders will need to re-qualify according to income and criminal standards.
UDR offers a No Hassle Relocation Guarantee incentive which allows residents to conveniently transfer from one UDR community to another with reduced fees and deposits. *Restrictions apply.

What is the voluntary buy-out agreement? |
A voluntary buyout agreement is an arrangement where a landlord and resident mutually agree to terminate a lease before its original expiration date. If a resident wishes to end their lease early, they must provide a written notice to vacate at least 30 days in advance and pay a buyout fee equivalent to 200% of one month's rent. This fee must be paid within 15 days of giving notice; otherwise, a reletting fee may apply.

What are the ways to avoid credit card convenience fees? |
To avoid credit card convenience fees, please use the E-check option for online payments, as this is the preferred method. If you prefer not to enter your banking details, you can mail certified funds (cashier's check or money order) to our business office. Please ensure these funds are received by the 4th.

Who handles rent-related concerns? |
Our business managers handle any billing related questions or concerns.

When is the move-in balance due? |
The move-in balance is due on or before your moving date. This balance, along with all other move-in requirements, must be settled before access can be provided.

Where can rent payments be made? |
Rent payments can be made online through the UDR Resident app, or you may mail certified funds to our business office in Florida using certified mail at the following address: 11800 Dr. MLK Jr. St. N, St. Petersburg, FL 33716. Please remember to email the tracking information to [email protected].

Is there a lease renewal fee? |

How much notice is required prior to moving out? |
A minimum of 60-day written notice is required for a move-out without incurring additional fees.

Who should be contacted to transfer to a sister community? |
Please email the site team members at [email protected] with your transfer inquiry. An associate will reach out with our transfer policy and process. Please know that we require at least a 30-day written notice to vacate for transfer requests. We will not be able to accommodate an immediate transfer.

Is there a fee associated with the Relocation Guarantee? |
If you are transferring mid-lease, there will be a transfer fee equivalent to one month’s rent. However, there is no fee for transferring at the end of the lease.
